Taupo Language classes have a maximum class size of ten students per teacher with an average class size of seven. General English morning class is from 9:00am to 12:15. Afternoon class runs from 1:15 to 3:15.

Part-Time English (4 levels) *
15 hours English per week (09:00-12:15 each day). Suitable for students who wish to pursue their favourite afternoon activities and become fluent in English over a longer period of time. Students select their own afternoon adventure activities on a pay as they attend basis or have free time. 2-50 weeks duration.

Full Time English *
25 hours per week. The fastest way to improve your English. Students enrolled on this school course can change to an exam class at no extra cost. 2-50 weeks duration.

Pre-Secondary School Course *
Prepares teenagers for New Zealand secondary school. General English class each morning.
Afternoons include school preparation English (e.g. mathematics, science) and alternating coaching activities, such as piano, swimming, golf, team sports etc., or further afternoon English classes. Assistance with secondary school placement. Students must intend to enrol at a secondary school. 12-50 weeks duration.

IELTS Exam Course
International English Language Testing System (IELTS) is widely accepted as a prerequisite for university and polytechnic entrance examinations in New Zealand, Australia, the United Kingdom and Canada. It is a requirement for permanent residency in New Zealand. The course includes General English each morning with afternoon exam classes.
Course Fee = $370.00 per week + examination fee

English + Adventure Activities
15 hours English per week (mornings) + 5 adventure activities per week (afternoons). All equipment hire, transport, instruction & ski passes included. 1 to 4 weeks duration.

We encourage students to enrol in a combination of programmes. For example: Two weeks Full Time English and two weeks Full Time English + Adventure Activities. The student can participate in any ten activities over the four weeks. See Adventure Activities
Snowboarding & Skiing Race Programme
Suitable for experienced skiers/boarders who have their own equipment. Runs from mid July to October with a snow school each weekend.

Parent & Children English course
